Peer to Peer transfers

As the lead product designer, I spearheaded the inception of a groundbreaking peer-to-peer (P2P) feature within the product, revolutionizing user interactions with each other. Collaborating closely with our engineering team, we embarked on the journey of developing this project from ideation to implementation, starting from ground zero and building it up from scratch. Together, we envisioned and brought to life a dynamic platform that fosters direct engagement and transactions between users, marking a significant milestone in Maza's evolution.

Final Screens

The Maza Red screens were deliberately chosen to be a beacon of our brand and messaging. We did extensive testing with artwork and the red was very compelling and obviously eye-catching.

Gift Exchange experiment project

The gift exchange was a project devised through a joint effort between Growth and Product. The goal was to create a program that would perpetuate gifting among our customers with a low rate of $5 per new customer; new users would essentially earn $10 just by onboarding, with $5 handed off to the next person they refer. The gift card metaphor was used for a clear incentive to participate.

Tapping on the Gift card would initiate a modified version of our P2P flow. The $5 notification module was a reminder that these funds were from Maza and not their personal account.
Exploration session in Figma, where I built various views and operations of the gift exchange program. Merging our P2P flow with the newly created gift flow.

Post launch

Working closely with the front-end engineering team, we had to inspect how the keyboard would scale appropriately. Through testing, we decided against a fixed-size keyboard. A scalable option between 50% and 60% screen height proportions worked on all dimensions and was a better solution than some of our competitors had implemented.

Synopsis

The bridge between constant change and the friction of brand continuity. I articulate and connect culture, design, art and curate those experiences.
